HEATING THE BILLET
HOME — CAPABILITIES
Cutting, forging, heat treatment, machining and inspection run inside a single works at Ghaziabad. Here is the iron that does it — hammer to furnace to chuck.
A malleable billet or ingot is worked to a pre-determined shape by hammering or pressing — strengthening the material, not just shaping it. We run closed die, open die and ring rolling.
Metal shaped between machined dies for repeatable, near-net components in production quantities.
Hammer and press work between flat or simple dies for large shafts, blocks, discs and one-off shapes.
Seamless rolled rings, wheels and tyres with continuous grain flow, up to Ø 2200 mm.
| Equipment | Qty. | Capacity |
|---|---|---|
| Pneumatic Forging Hammer | 01 | 2 MT |
| Hydraulic Forging Hammer | 02 | 8 MT |
| Hydraulic Press | 01 | 500 MT |
| Heating Furnace | 02 | 10 MT |
Controlled heating and cooling cycles that relieve forging stresses, refine structure and set the mechanical properties the drawing demands.
Excess material comes off to the drawing — VMC, VTL, CNC, lathes, radial drills, boring, planer-miller and band saws, all capable of close-tolerance work. 25+ machines on the floor.
